Welcome to InHome Care Solutions. By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, registering for services, or engaging our placement and referral services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
These Terms apply to families, caregivers, and others who interact with InHome Care Solutions. Additional terms may apply through individually signed service agreements.
InHome Care Solutions is a professional nanny placement and household staffing referral agency connecting families with qualified candidates for full-time and part-time nanny, family assistant, household manager, and other household staffing and childcare support positions as offered.
Our services may include personalized consultations, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and placement support. We do not employ, supervise, or control the day-to-day activities of candidates hired directly by families. The family makes all final hiring decisions and establishes the employment relationship with the selected candidate.
Any service in which InHome Care Solutions directly employs or supplies workers will be governed by a separate written agreement.
InHome Care Solutions charges fees for professional recruiting, screening, and placement services. Clients are required to pay a non-refundable search initiation fee before the candidate search begins. Upon hiring a referred candidate, the applicable placement fee becomes due in accordance with the signed client agreement.
All fees, payment schedules, cancellation terms, and refund policies are outlined in the individual client agreement. Fees are non-refundable except as otherwise specified in the signed agreement or required by applicable law.
Additional services, including customized recruiting, screening-only services, or specialized placements, may be subject to separate fees. Agency fees are separate from wages, benefits, payroll expenses, and other compensation owed directly to the caregiver. The signed client agreement governs all financial obligations and payment terms.
InHome Care Solutions follows a multi-step screening process designed to help families make informed hiring decisions. Screening may include:
• Candidate applications and interviews
• Professional experience verification
• Employment and personal reference checks
• Criminal background screening and sex offender registry searches
• Motor vehicle record checks when applicable
• CPR and First Aid certification verification
• Review of relevant qualifications and credentials
Screening procedures may vary depending on the position, candidate, applicable law, and screening package. Background checks may be conducted through third-party providers and are subject to available records, reporting restrictions, and third-party information. A background check does not guarantee that every prior incident or record will be identified.
InHome Care Solutions does not guarantee a candidate’s future performance, conduct, reliability, or compatibility. Families retain responsibility for interviews, review of candidate information, and final hiring decisions.
Candidates placed in childcare positions are expected to maintain current CPR and First Aid certification appropriate to their responsibilities. Families may request documentation before the caregiver’s first day. Caregivers are responsible for maintaining required certifications, and families are encouraged to verify certification status before employment begins.
Families may request interviews, working interviews, or paid trial periods. Working interviews and trials arranged through our process must be coordinated with InHome Care Solutions. Families are responsible for compensating candidates for all compensable work in accordance with applicable law.
A working interview does not guarantee an offer or placement. Families must communicate trial expectations, schedules, responsibilities, and compensation before the trial begins.
Once a family hires a referred caregiver, the family generally becomes the employer and is responsible for:
• Establishing employment terms and compensation
• Complying with wage and overtime laws
• Managing payroll and employment taxes
• Providing legally required employment documentation
• Maintaining applicable insurance and workers’ compensation coverage
• Establishing schedules, responsibilities, and benefits
• Managing performance, disciplinary matters, and termination
Household workers may qualify as employees rather than independent contractors based on the actual working relationship. Families are encouraged to use compliant household payroll services and properly classify workers.
General employment resources and agreement templates provided by InHome Care Solutions are a courtesy and do not constitute legal, accounting, or tax advice. Families should consult qualified professionals regarding their obligations.
InHome Care Solutions offers one replacement search within the first 90 days of the original placement, subject to the signed client agreement. Eligibility may require that:
• All agency fees are paid in full
• The family has complied with the signed agreement
• The original position’s duties, compensation, and schedule remain substantially unchanged
• The family promptly notifies InHome Care Solutions if the placement ends
The replacement policy includes one additional candidate search at no additional standard placement fee. A replacement is subject to candidate availability and is not guaranteed within a specific timeframe. Only one replacement search is provided per placement. The 90-day period does not restart or extend following a replacement. The signed agreement governs all eligibility requirements, exclusions, and procedures.
InHome Care Solutions may assist with temporary childcare referrals or gap coverage when available. Temporary care is not guaranteed. Applicable fees, scheduling requirements, cancellation terms, and charges will be communicated before services are arranged.
Unless a separate agreement states otherwise, families pay temporary caregivers directly and remain responsible for applicable employment requirements. Temporary arrangements do not automatically qualify for the permanent placement guarantee.
Families agree to:
• Provide accurate information about the household, children, schedule, compensation, and job requirements
• Treat candidates professionally and respectfully
• Maintain a safe and lawful working environment
• Communicate changes in hiring needs promptly
• Notify the agency when an offer is extended or a candidate is hired
• Fulfill payment obligations under the signed agreement
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
Families must disclose material information relevant to the position, including pets, transportation expectations, special care requirements, and household duties. InHome Care Solutions may discontinue services when a client provides materially inaccurate information, engages in discriminatory or unlawful conduct, or violates the service agreement, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.
Candidate profiles, resumes, contact information, references, and screening materials are solely for the family’s hiring evaluation. Families agree not to distribute candidate information to third parties without authorization or another lawful basis and must handle it responsibly under applicable privacy and employment laws.
Any fees associated with hiring a referred candidate, sharing referrals, or hiring through another household are governed by the signed client agreement.
InHome Care Solutions may offer or facilitate pediatric sleep consulting through Dreamy Littles Sleep Consulting, including virtual consultations, personalized sleep plans, newborn sleep education, infant and toddler sleep guidance, and parent coaching or follow-up support.
Sleep consulting is educational and behavioral support, not medical care, and does not replace a pediatrician or licensed healthcare professional. Recommendations are individualized; results vary, and no outcome or timeframe is guaranteed. Families are responsible for following current safe-sleep guidance and consulting their child’s healthcare provider regarding medical concerns. Separate agreements and policies may apply.
InHome Care Solutions makes reasonable efforts to identify candidates aligned with a family’s stated needs. We cannot guarantee a specific number of candidates, placement within a particular timeframe, candidate acceptance, long-term retention, compatibility, or candidate availability in every location. Estimated search timelines may change based on market conditions, compensation, requirements, and availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InHome Care Solutions is not responsible for losses arising solely from the independent actions or omissions of caregivers employed directly by families or from employment decisions and obligations controlled by the family. We do not guarantee uninterrupted services or candidate availability.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from our own conduct where applicable law prohibits such limitation. Additional limitations are subject to the signed client agreement and applicable law.

InHome Care Solutions collects information necessary to respond to inquiries, evaluate candidates, coordinate referrals, and provide services. This may include contact details, employment history, references, household preferences, and other relevant information. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and share it only as appropriate for services, with authorization, or as permitted or required by law. Additional details should appear in a separate Privacy Policy.
InHome Care Solutions may modify these Terms periodically. Updated terms will be published with a revised effective date and apply prospectively, subject to applicable law and existing agreements. Material changes affecting existing contractual obligations will be handled under the applicable agreement and law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Candidates referred for direct hire are not employees of InHome Care Solutions solely because they apply through or are introduced by the agency. We do not guarantee employment, compensation, hours, benefits, or job duration. Final employment offers and agreements are directly between the family and caregiver.
Candidates should review agreements carefully and ensure compensation, schedules, responsibilities, paid time off, and other terms are documented before accepting. InHome Care Solutions may guide or facilitate communication but does not replace the employer’s responsibility. Candidates and families must communicate respectfully and provide accurate information.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, including the laws of the State of Ohio, subject to mandatory laws in another jurisdiction. Disputes arising from a signed client agreement will be handled according to that agreement. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived.
